Floyd F. and Irene V. Rettinger Fetterman

Floyd, son of Lydia Alice Hill and Isaiah William Fetterman, was born in Catawissa Township, Columbia County, PA. He married Irene, a daughter of Amelia Neetzow and Joseph Rettinger of Ashland, Schuylkill County, PA. They made their home in Newlin, and two children were born of this marriage:

  1. Virginia; and
  2. Daniel F., b. August 23, 1943; d. May 27, 1968.

Floyd worked for Maxi Manufacturing Company for many years and retired in 1978. At the time of Irene’s death, they were living in Newlin, PA. They were both members of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Numidia. Floyd remarried, and as his widow is still living, no other information will be offered here.
