L. Rogers and A. Faye Fetterman

My research indicates that L. Rogers was the son of and Sarah Margaret Rogers and George Franklin Fetterman of Coal Township, Shamokin, PA. L. Rogers appeared on a census image for 1930 Coal Township as a son of G. Frank and S. Margaret Fetterman. He was likely named after his maternal grandfather, Leonard Rogers. He was a grandson of Matilda Rarig and John Fetterman. There is a flag standing next to the headstone, indicating that L. Rogers served honorably in the armed forces.

Social Security lists Faye's date of death as March 20, 1988, so there is a definite discrepancy of the date of death on this headstone.
