Allen Elsworth was the oldest son of Lafayette and Anna Moaria Keller Fetterman. Sarah or “Sadie” as she was known, was the daughter of James and Elizabeth Bucher Kostenbauder. They owned and operated the general store in Centralia, PA, until they bought a farm in nearby Catawissa and moved there. They were the parents of ten children.

Elsworth died without a Will, and a Letter of Administration was granted to Claude and Sarah Fetterman and Ola Lee as Administrators to his estate on June 24, 1933.
