Hannah Matildia Fetterman was the daughter of Hannah Billig and Peter Fetterman. She married George Emerson, the son of Salome A. Adams and Franklin Fetterman, on December 24, 1897. Their marriage was announced in The Democratic Sentinel on December 31, 1897. George and Matildia had four children.
