William B. Fetterman
Stella A. Witchey Fetterman

Stella and William were the parents of two children: Jay Vincent and Doris L. In 1920, they were living on Elmwood Road in Bethlehem, Northampton County, PA with their son Jay who was three years old. William was an engineer for a steel works company. The census shows that they owned this home. By 1920, Stella and William had moved to Allentown where they were living on Allen Street. By this time, they had their daughter Doris, who was then nine years old, and Jay was 13. William’s occupation was listed as engineer in a steel mill. The Allentown City Directories for the years of 1937-1938 and 1942 list William as still living on Allen Street with his wife Stella, and in 1942, he was working for Bethlehem Steel.

The records of others show Hiram Jacob Fetterman as being the father of William Benjamin. I am not totally sure of this, however, he is buried in the row directly in front of Hiram. I will be sending for his death certificate which will have the names of his parents listed on it.
