Florence (Flossie) M. Fetterman & William R. Lee

Flossie was the third of five children born to Mary Ellen Long and Harvey P. Fetterman. There was not much information to be found on this couple. In 1930, they were renting an apartment in Hamilton, Trenton City, New Jersey. At this time, Flossie was working as a typist for a pottery, and William was working as a salesman selling porcelain. The 1930 census lists Flossie as being 24 at the time of her marriage to William; he was 21. There were no children listed, but the census shows that both William and his parents were born in New Jersey. An interesting note to this is that the other apartment was occupied by Morris G. Long, a widower, and his daughters. It may well be that Morris was a relation to Flossie’s mother. Their residence at the time of William’s death was Mohnton, Berks County, PA.
