Bobbie was the youngest son of four children born to Mary A. Carl and George Clinton Fetterman. He first showed up in the census for 1920 Franklin Township, Columbia County, PA, at the age of 3 years and 3 months. Bobbie graduated from Locust Township High School in 1936. After graduation, he went to work for the Pennsylvania Railroad at Enola where he worked as a car repairman from 1936 to 1946. He married Geraldine D., the oldest daughter and one of five children born to Ada Long and Joseph Blass of Mill Grove, PA, around 1938. She graduated from Locust High School in 1936. In 1946, they moved to their farm in Locust Township where they marketed his produce in Shenandoah and Mt. Carmel. Bobby was a charter member of Roaring Creek Valley Grange and served as an associate director of the Pennsylvania Farmers Association. He also served on the church consistory at Grace United Church of Christ, Millgrove, of which he and Geraldine were members. They were married almost 51 years when Bobby passed. He was laid to rest on Monday, February 6, 1989. In addition to his wife, son, and two grandchildren, Bobby was also survived by one brother. Besides behing a homemaker, Geraldine operated the family farm in Catawissa
where they made their home for more than 43 years. She enjoyed gardening
and was a lifetime member of the Roaring Creek Valley Grange. In addition
to a brother, she was survived by a son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
Geraldine was laid to rest beside her husband on Thursday, February 12,
