Isaac, who was known by his name Thomas, was the son of Rebecca Jane Weller and William Wallace Fetterman, and he was born in Aristes, Conyngham Township, Columbia County, PA. About 1925, he married Wanda M., the daughter of Mary Yarnell and Richard Edwards of Pottsville Township, Schuylkill County, PA. They made their home in Pottsville, and of this union, one son was born.

  1. Richard Wallace Fetterman, born February 5, 1927 – died August 8, 1976.

Early in their marriage, both Thomas and Wanda worked as operators in a silk mill, and Mary cared for their child. At the time of his death, Isaac was operating a state liquor store in St. Clair, PA. He was a member of the Masons, a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and also a Shriner.

At the time of his death, Thomas and Wanda were married thirty-seven years.

Mary Edwards was the daughter of Susan Yarnell, and she was listed as a dressmaker living in St. Nicholas Village of Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, PA, in the census of 1900. At that time, she reported being married three years and widowed with one child Viola. By 1910, she had married Richard Edwards, and this was a second married for both. At this time, she and Richard were married six years, and they were living in Pottsville Borough with Viola and Wanda who was five years old at this time. Richard worked as a fireman for the courthouse, and he died sometime after 1920. In the census for 1930, Mary was reported as widowed and living with I. Thomas and Wanda in Pottsville Borough, and they are all buried together here.
