Blanche M. and Claude E. Fetterman

Claude was the third of ten children born to Anna Dora Lindenmuth and William Jacob Fetterman, and he was born in Aristes, Columbia County, PA. Known also as “Pondo,” he worked as a laborer in the coal mines helping to support his widowed mother. He married and lived in Ringtown where he became a farmer until his retirement. Of his marriage to Blanche, three sons were born. At the time of his death, he was living in a nursing home in Shenandoah, PA.
