Ida was the oldest daughter born in Mount Carmel Township, Northumberland County, PA, to Hannah Helwig and Daniel B. Fetterman. Of her first marriage to a Blecher, I found no information at all. According to the census for 1910, she was remarried about 1904 to Benjamin E. Andrews. In this census, they were living with her parents in Danville Borough, and Benjamin was working as a merchant in groceries. Of this marriage, one child was born:
