Myron was the oldest son of Leah May Manning and David F. Fetterman, and he was born in Berwick Borough, Columbia County, PA. My research shows that he married Arline H., daughter of Lydia B. and Floyd W. McClintock of Briar Creek, Columbia County, PA, about 1923. In 1930, there were living in Berwick where Myron was an auto mechanic in an auto repair shop. At this time, there were three daughters born of the marriage.

From their daughter Betty’s obituary, it is clear that Myron remarried after Arline’s untimely death, and from that marriage, there was a son and daughter born of the second marriage.

I had the good fortune to speak with the caretaker of this cemetery and he had lived in Berwick his entire life and had worked at the cemetery since 1951. He related that Myron was known as “Abe,” that he was a mechanic by trade and there wasn’t anything that Abe couldn’t fix.
