Glen was the son and one of 14 children born to Sarah Elizabeth Fetterman and William Wark, and he was born in Mount Carmel Borough, Northumberland County, PA. In 1928, he married Grace D., the daughter of Margaret and Jerry Oberdorf. Grace was born in Franklin Township, Columbia County, PA. When first married, they lived with Glenn’s family in Berwick Borough. Of this marriage, a son and daughter were born.

Glen worked for Berwick Creamery and then for Dairlea. He retired in 1969. Grace worked for Magee Carpet Company and then for Wise Potato Chip Company. She retired after 34 years in 1973. Glen was a member of West Berwick Hose Company No. 1, and Grace was a member of the Borden 25-Year Club.

At the time of Glen’s death, they were married forty-seven years.
