||
|
I, Susannah Fetterman of the Township of Roaring Creek in the County of Columbia, and State of Pennsylvania, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made. And first, I direct that my body be decently interred in the burying ground of the Reformed Church near the village of Numidia aside my former husband Amzy Craig according to the rites and ceremonies of the Lutheran Church and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in life. As to such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose of the same as follows: First, I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first moneys that shall come into the hands of my executor from any portion of my estate, real or personal, and my sisters Polly Bittner, Charles Mensch, Adam Mensch, and Sarah Beaver shall each have a quilt, and all the rest of my personal property shall belong to my husband Jacob Fetterman. All my real estate shall go to my husband Jacob Fetterman after he has paid all my funeral expenses and erected a tombstone same as my former husband Amzy Craig has. And I do hereby make and ordain Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In Witness Whereof, I Susannah Fetterman the testatrix have to this my Will, written on one sheet of paper, set my hand and seal, this sixth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninty [sic] seven.
Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Susannah Fetterman, as and for her last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who have hereunto subscribed our names at his request, as witnesses thereto, in the presence of the testator and each other. Joseph Helwig |
